Former footballer Thierry Henry will make his first appearance as a regular Sky Sports football pundit this afternoon.
The global sporting icon will work across Sky Sports’ unrivalled schedule of live international, European and domestic football, joining a line-up of football experts that includes Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Jamie Redknapp and Graeme Souness.
Sky Sports viewers will be able to enjoy Henry’s opinions and insight forged from a playing career of unparalleled success.
The Frenchman will join Ed Chamberlin and Graeme Souness at the Etihad Stadium, the site of Sky’s second televised match of the day – Manchester City v Arsenal.
The Citizens are aiming to retain the title, while the Gunners have a fight on their hands if they are to finish in the top four once again.
September’s reverse fixture saw the sides share the spoils in a 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium.
Speaking of joining Sky Sports, Thierry Henry said: “I’ve been fortunate enough to have had an amazing playing career with many incredible memories and now I can’t wait for the next chapter to begin with Sky Sports.
“I played for some of the best teams in football and now I’m joining what I think is the best team in television. I’m looking forward to joining the guys and helping to provide Sky Sports viewers with the best possible analysis. I can’t wait.”
Coverage begins at 3.30pm on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD, kick-off 4.00pm
Sky Sports will also air the Premier League clash between West Ham United at Hull City from 12.30pm today.
