Suzy Kolber

NFL presenter Suzy Kolber and NBA analyst Jeff Van Gundy are victims in ESPN’s latest round of layoffs.

Suzy said “Heartbreaking! but 27 years at ESPN was a good run. So grateful for a 38 yr career!”

Jeff Van Gundy’s lay off ends an uninterrupted 16-year tenure that began midway through the 2007 NBA Playoffs.

Jalen Rose, LaPhonso Ellis, Max Kellerman and Keyshawn Johnson are also believed to have left ESPN.

The New York Post says Doc Rivers is a contender to replace Van Gundy after he was fired by the Philadelphia 76ers at the end of last season.

UPDATE: Front Office Sport is reporting that Steve Young, NFL analysis, has also been let go by ESPN.
