Manchester United host Crystal Palace in the third round of Carabao Cup 2023 this evening.
The match will be shown live on Sky Sports – the first of two to be shown live on Sky this week.
Manchester United have won five of their six League Cup meetings with Crystal Palace, though the exception was a 2-1 home defeat in the most recent such clash (2011-12 quarter-final).
Crystal Palace have knocked out the holders of the League Cup the last two times they’ve faced them, beating Aston Villa 4-1 in 1994-95, and Leicester City 3-0 in 2000-01.

On Wednesday evening, Sky Sports will air Manchester City’s visit to Newcastle United.
United have lost three of their four League Cup ties against Man City, though they did win the most recent one 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium in 2014-15 (fourth round).
Manchester City have lost just one of their last 17 meetings with Newcastle in all competitions (W13 D3), and are unbeaten in 10 (W8 D2) since a 2-1 loss in January 2019.
Wednesday’s coverage gets underway at 7.00pm and will include the fourth round draw following the match.
