Gary Neville is expected to return to Sky Sports as a football pundit next season, according to the Daily Mail
Gary left Sky Sports in December 2015 to become the head coach at Valencia, but had an awful time, winning just 10 out of 28 games in a four-month spell before his inevitable sacking.
Sky offered Gary an open-ended invite to rejoin Sky when he left, with managing director of Sky Sports Barney Francis saying: “He will always be a friend of Sky Sports and we look forward to following the next chapter of his career closely. And of course, the door will always be open should he wish to return.”
He joined Sky in 2011 following the sacking of Andy Gray and was joined on the set of Monday Night Football last season by fellow former England defender Jamie Carragher.
It was announced last week that Ed Chamberlin, presenter of the Monday Night Football, is to leave Sky to take up the role of presenter for ITV’s horse racing coverage, which starts in January 2017.
David Jones is set to replace Ed.
