Matthew Amroliwala

Matthew Amroliwala is a presenter on BBC News.

He joined the BBC in 1990 as a network news correspondent, including extensive work in Northern Ireland. He has also reported from Bosnia on the fall of Srebrenica and travelled throughout the Balkans during that conflict.

Matthew joined BBC News Channel at its launch in 1997 as a presenter of the channel’s evening programmes. Since 2001, he was mainly presenting alongside Jane Hill.

Matthew is married and has four children.
