Harry Smith was a Scottish journalist, working for ITV, STV and Channel 4 News.
He was a news correspondent for the ITN produced London Tonight and ITV News covering a wide range of stories at home and abroad. He also acted as Westminster Correspondent for STV News in Scotland.
Harry joined ITN in 1988 after seven years with BBC TV News and Scottish Television. He was made Home Affairs Correspondent in 1992, Scotland Political Correspondent in 1997, before becoming News Correspondent in 2000.
Harry left ITN in 2007, but joined STV news shortly afterwards as Westminster Correspondent.
Harry died suddenly on 19th June 2020. He was 69.
