Manchester City host Arsenal in the FA Community Shield on Sunday 6th August.
The traditional curtain-raiser to the top-flight campaign will be held at Wembley Stadium, and will be shown live on ITV1.
The Citizens won a Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League treble last term, but have lost in this match in each of the previous two campaigns, to Leicester City and then Liverpool.
Arsenal, who finished second in the Premier last term, last appeared in this competition in 2019, when they defeated Liverpool on penalties.
Mark Pougatch will be live on ITV1 and ITV1 HD from 3.15pm, where he will be joined in the studio by Roy Keane and Emma Hayes.
