Jeff Stelling is set to join talkSport’s breakfast show, according to the Mail.

Jeff left Sky Sports at the end of the football season after 30 years with the company.

Laura Woods vacated the breakfast show a few weeks ago to take up the role of World Cup 2023 presenter with ITV, and is rumoured to replace Jake Humphrey has host of UEFA Champions League football on TNT Sports.

Ally McCoist – also a member of talkSPORT – is to join TNT Sports for the forthcoming football season. It’s not known if the move will affect Ally’s other work with the radio station, Amazon Prime, and ITV.

Sky Sports have confirmed that Simon Thomas will take over from Jeff Stelling as the host of Soccer Saturday.

Sky also announced that former Premier League referee Mike Dean will be joining Soccer Saturday to offer in-depth analysis and insight on the biggest decisions made across the country.

Mike had a 27-year refereeing career, retiring from on-pitch officiating in 2022, after 22 years as a Premier League referee. He spent last season as a dedicated VAR.

Sky said that the new season of Soccer Saturday will broadcast from a new studio with a brand new look!
