BBC Presenters and Reporters on the move

A number of BBC presenters and reporters are on the move in the near future.

At the BBC, presenters Adrian Finighan and Stephen Cole are leaving the corporation. Finighan, who presents on both BBC World and BBC News 24 will host a new show on CNN International as the channel beefs up its London output. Cole meanwhile, who shot to fame when he presented the Six and Ten O’clock News bulletins on the day of industrial action by BBC staff earlier this year, is joining Al-Jazeera International as its main London-based presenter.

The corporation has also announced that their Kabul Correspondent Andrew North is moving to Baghdad to replace Caroline Hawley who has held the post since the fall of Saddam Hussein. Caroline is moving to Jerusalem to replace Orla Guerin as a Middle East Correspondent. Orla replaces Hillary Andersson, who is moving to Panorama, as the South Africa Correspondent.

One O’clock News presenter Anna Ford also leaves the corporation in April sparking a revamp of BBC National News.
