Sue Barker – born 19 April 1956 – is a former tennis presenter at the BBC.
Sue is a former professional tennis player. During her tennis career, she won the women’s singles title at the French Open in 1976 beating Renáta Tomanová 6–2, 0–6, 6–2 and reached a career-high singles ranking of World Number 3.
When Sue retired from tennis she became a commentator and sports reporter for Australia’s Channel 7 in 1985 before joining Sky in 1990 to front their tennis coverage.
Sue joined the BBC In 1993, presenting their coverage of Wimbledon until 2022.
