Mary Rhodes presents sports news bulletins for BBC One and BBC World News.
Mary’s broadcasting career started with her love of tennis when she was offered a job on Radio Wimbledon, a station set up for the two week duration of the championships. Following this, she was offered freelance work across the BBC’s radio stations and was then given a role as a sports presenter on BBC News 24.
Since then, Mary’s broadcasting career has flourished. She hosted a daily sports magazine programme for the BBC, 110% and now presents bulletins across most of the BBC’s news outlets.
Mary is married and lives in Warwickshire.
