Kate’s work on the plight of children in Russian Orphanages, where she filmed under cover, earned her a BAFTA in 2000. She also spent three series as a presenter and reporter on consumer show Watchdog.

Kate got her television break in Channel 5’s dating show Attractions and rejoined the channel in 2005 where she was appointed as the presenter of Five’s 7pm news bulletin and evening updates on Thursdays and Fridays as well as the channel’s weekend bulletins.
