Daisy McAndrew (née Sampson) is former correspondent for ITV News
She was originally Chief Political Correspondent for ITV News, however after the departure of Mark Eddo, Daisy suceeded him as Economics Editor. McAndrew is set to become “Special Correspondent” for ITV News in late 2011
From 2006 until 2007, Daisy was a presenter of ITV News weekend bulletins and the ITV News at 1:30, and again from 2011 she occasionally presents main bulletins.
Prior to this, she was a Political Correspondent for BBC News as well as co-presenting The Daily Politics on BBC Two. She also hosted her own daily radio drive-time programme for London’s LBC 97.3FM Driving Home with Daisy and has made two appearances on Have I Got News For You on BBC One.
Daisy started as a researcher in the House of Commons and then at the age of 23 edited The House Magazine for two years, later becoming a freelance political journalist in the House of Commons Press Gallery.
