Mexico v England – World CUp 2026 – Live TV Coverage on BBC One

England will take on Mexico in the last 16 of World Cup 2026 this evening.
The match will be held at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, and will be shown live on BBC One.
The co-hosts beat Ecuador 2-0 in the last round, thanks to first-half goals from Julian Quinones and Raul Jimenez, and have yet to concede in the tournament so far.
Facing the Mexicans at this venue is a particularly tough test, as they have such an excellent record here over the years, and England undoubtedly need to improve if they are to progress to the quarter-finals, having scraped past DR Congo 2-1 in the previous round thanks to two goals by Harry Kane.
Coverage starts at 12.00am on BBC One and BBC One HD. Kick-off 1.00am.
The match will also be shown live via the BBC iPlayer, with a full, spoiler-free, replay of the match airing on BBC Two from 7.10am on Monday morning.
The winners will play either Brazil or Norway at the Miami Stadium on Saturday 11th July with a 10pm BST kick-off time.
