Mornings with Sophy and Wilf - Sky News

Sky News has today announced the name of their new breakfast programme starting from Monday 3rd November.

Mornings with Ridge and Frost, will be fronted by Sophy Ridge and Wilfred Frost – broadcasting live from 7am-10am from a rebranded modern studio in the heart of London.

The programme will bring the audience the day’s essential stories – and drive the conversation with agenda-setting interviews. The duo will be joined by Sky’s leading correspondents and editors with all of their latest reporting.

“Presenting our morning programme is a real pinch yourself moment and I can’t think of anyone better to be doing it with than Wilf,” Sophy said.

“For me, it’s about news making interviews and making sense of the big stories – but also having conversations that feel real, human, and actually matter to people’s everyday lives.”

Sky is also launching a brand-new daily podcast, Cheat Sheet with Ridge and Frost, dropping weekdays at 6am. This fast-paced 10-minute news rundown will give audiences the essential headlines and digestible insight they need to start their day.

Wilfred Frost said: “It’s a privilege to launch a brand-new morning show on Sky News – especially to be partnering with Sophy.

We’ve had such fun shaping the show with our brilliant team, and I can’t wait for viewers to be part of the ride and help them make sense of what’s going on in the world each morning.”

Weekend presenters of Mornings will be Kamali Melbourne and Anna Jones. Gareth Barlow will present the wraparound coverage between 6-7am and 10am-1pm.
