Political Correspondent Tamara Cohen is leaving Sky News
Sky News political correspondent Tamara Cohen has announced she is leaving the news channel.
“After ten years and six prime ministers, I’ve decided to hang up my microphone,” Cohen said in a social media post.
“It has been a privilege to do this job, whether it’s on the days of big political drama, or telling the stories that bubble under the surface.”
She first joined Sky News in 2016, covering the run-up to the EU referendum, fall of David Cameron, and the 2017 and 2019 election campaigns.
Before joining Sky, Tamara worked in national newspapers for 10 years, as a general news reporter and science correspondent, before specialising in politics.
Tamara added: “Thanks to the many people who’ve helped me along the way; have watched and shared their experiences; and of course my wonderful colleagues in the political team.”
