The ITV1+ replay was removed with a notice saying “We’ll be back soon. We are temporarily unable to bring you our +1 service.
A hour after the broadcast, Rageh’s colleague Chris Ship posted on social media:
“We don’t praise the NHS enough but @Ldn_Ambulance paramedics are absolutely amazing. Thank you guys.”
An ITV News spokesman said: “We are aware that viewers are concerned about Rageh Omaar’s wellbeing.
“Rageh became unwell while presenting News at Ten on Friday and is now receiving medical care. He thanks everyone for their well wishes.”
