ITV weather presenter Alex Beresford has been confirmed as the eighth celebrity to compete in next year’s Dancing on Ice.
The news was confirmed after Alex presented a weather segment from the Natural History Museum on Good Morning Britain today.
“I literally started training on Tuesday so I’m at the beginning of my journey,” said Alex.
“I’m actually finding out who my partner is after this show so I’m really excited. I’ve wanted to do this show for ages. It’s been the biggest secret I’ve ever kept.”
The show – hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby – sees 12 celebrities skating to impress the ice panel, consisting of skating legends Torvill and Dean, show favourite Jason Gardiner and one remaining judge, as well as the viewers at home.
Alex joins previously confirmed celebrities Brooke Vincent, Cheryl Baker, Kem Cetinay, Candice Brown, Max Evans, Jake Quickenden, Monty Panesar and Donna Air.
