BBC News presenter Susanna Reid told yesterday how burglars broke into her home as her family slept upstairs.
Writing on Twitter Susanna said: “Burgled”, later adding “They took the TV and the car. Also ipad.”
Burglars forced their way into the home the Breakfast news presenter shares with partner Dominic Cotton and their three young sons.
They took an iPad, iPhone a 32in television and the keys to a silver Vauxhall Zafira, which they drove away in yesterday from her home in South London.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said Lambeth Burglary Unit was investigating the break-in, adding: “It appears the burglar entered the premises by forcing a front window. Property stolen included a television and the occupant’s car.”
