We posted a story today about Kate Garraway quitting Daybreak.

The story, which originated in the Daily Star on Sunday, has turned out to be untrue.

In the last few minutes Kate Garraway said on twitter: “Don’t know where these crazy stories come from. I am NOT quitting Daybreak! I love the show.”

We have now removed the story.
