Will Perry - Biography & Images

Will Perry is a presenter on Sky Sports News and BBC News Sports.

He has over 20 years experience in the industry, working for the BBC, The Premier League, TalkkSPORT, UEFA, Super League and Betfair.

Will started his broadcasting career at talkSPORT in 2003 whilst still completing his A-levels at Harrow School before moving to KEY103 in Manchester as he studied at Manchester Metropolitan University.

In 2006 he joined the BBC, presenting and commentating for BBC Radio Manchester and working on shows with record label owner Tony Wilson.

During this time Will also appeared on Manchester’s local television station Channel M, hosting a weekly, behind the scenes rugby union programme with Sale Sharks and presented “The Lancashire Cricket Show”.

In 2008 Will worked as reporter for Sky Sports News before joining the BBC Northwest Tonight team alongside Gordon Burns, Tony Livesey and Ranvir Singh.

From 2009 Will presented sport on 5live shows with Victoria Derbyshire, Gabby Logan, Nicky Campbell, Peter Allen, Aasmah Mir and Richard Bacon. He was also part of the 5live Sport presentation team alongside Mark Champman, Mark Pougatch and Eleanor Oldroyd where he covered live World Title boxing from ringside, Champions League Finals, golf’s PGA Championship and World Athletics Championships.

For over a decade he appeared on the BBC News Channel, BBC World as well as BBC Final Score. Will fronted Match of the Day 2 extra on BBC 2 and The Super League Show. He featured on BBC Radio One and The Chris Evans Breakfast show on Radio 2.

He joined IMG, Premier League Productions in 2016 where he hosts live Premier League football and chat shows for a world audience working with the best pundits in the business, Ian Wright, Alan Shearer and Michael Owen.

Will has also presented Ultimate Boxxer on BT Sport and Box Nation alongside Amir Khan, Anthony Crolla and Shannon Briggs, basketball for Freesports, Bellator MMA for Channel 5 and the UEFA UCL Show.

He is also a fluent French speaker and qualified ski instructor.
