Louise Lear presents the Weather across all of the BBC’s news outlets.
Louise first job was as a researcher for Children’s BBC, after which she joined an independent radio production company as a sports presenter, introducing such events as Wimbledon and the 1992 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer.
She then became a weather presenter at Central Television in Nottingham in 1992 before joining LBC. Louise joined the BBC Weather Centre in 1998 to present on News 24 and now appears across all BBC channels.
Louise is married with two children and lives in London.
