Before joining Sky, she was a economics correspondent at The Times newspaper.

Arthi started her career writing about higher education policy before joining the paper as a news reporter.

She led an investigation into cyber stalking.

Arthi was born in Chennai, India to Tamil parents. She moved to the UK when she was two years old and lived in Wales and the north of England before settling in Nottingham.
