Sky Sports touchline reporter, Andy Burton has been disciplined for making sexist remarks off-air about female assistant referee Sian Massey.
Burton is the third Sky Sports employee to be disciplined for inappropriate remarks after Richard Keys and Andy Gray were stood down from presenting Monday Night football yesterday.
Just before a live interview on Saturday afternoon a camera caught Burton saying to Gray: “Apparently, a female lino today, bit of a looker..according to Steve the cameraman.
“He says she’s all right… now I don’t know if I should trust his judgment on that.”
Gray replied: “Nah, I wouldn’t… I definitely wouldn’t.”
Burton has been removed from his reporting duties tonight/tomorrow.
