The last ITV News at 5:30 will broadcast tomorrow

ITV News will produce its last 5.30am bulletin tomorrow morning.

The programme, which launched on 15 February 1988, is begin axed as part of a budget review for 2013 of ITV’s news output.

The company is also planning to create a new foreign affairs unit, headed by international editor Bill Neely and supported by a new international correspondent and news editor.
