Brentford v Man United called off due to COVID-19

Tuesday’s Premier League clash between Manchester United and Brentford has been called off.

The game – which was scheduled to be broadcast live on BT Sport – was postponed by the league following an outbreak of COVID-19 at Manchester United’s training facility.

BT will still broadcast the other nine fixtures scheduled for this week including, Man City v Leeds on Tuesday; West Ham’s visit to Arsenal on Wednesday; and Liverpool hosting Newcastle on Thursday night.

It looks like we could be heading for a period of cancelled sporting events due to a raise in the Omicron variant.

The NBA announced on Monday that Chicago’s games against Detroit Pistons and Toronto Raptors have been postponed amid a coronavirus outbreak amongst the club’s players.

The Bulls are next scheduled to play against LA Lakers on December 19.
