Sky News presenter Jayne Secker had to cut short an interview with Sir Bob Geldof on Monday after the Band Aid founder began swearing.

Secker asked Geldof about his millionaire line up: “A lot of detractors are saying, look at a lot of those people in that room, a lot of wealthy people, if they all paid their taxes in the right way, we wouldn’t need these kinds of fundraising singles.”

“I think they are all talking b*llocks,” replied Geldof.

She then asked him what he through about the view that the Band Aid 30 single was “trite” and would raise a “comparative pittance” for charity.

Geldof responded: “Complete load of b*llocks”
