David Bobin is a former Sky Sports presenter.
He joined the channel in 1993, and became a familiar face to viewers using his versatility and knowledge of sport to work across a wide range of programming, including; rugby union (including the 1997 British Lions Tour of South Africa), European golf, Copa America, Goals on Sunday, Sky Soccer Weekend and Sky Sports Centre, plus the likes of Round the World Yacht Racing and American NASCAR racing.
In a journalistic career stretching back to the late 1960’s, David worked on local newspapers and radio in Oxford before starting in television with Southern TV in 1975.
Before joining Sky, David presented sports programmes for the ITV network and ITN.
He died in May 2017.
