Louise Minchin on The Weakest Link

Former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin is set to take part in a celebrity edition of Gladiators.

“I am so excited to be on Gladiators, I have watched the show for years and have always thought it looked like terrifying fun and I can’t wait to be part of it!” Minchin said.

She will join three other celebrities including: stand up comedian Rob Beckett, presenter and comedian Joel Dommett, and Ted Lasso star Ellie Taylor.

The fearless four will face the ultimate test of speed and strength up against the power of the Gladiators before going head to head in the iconic Eliminator.

The one-hour long episode will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer later this year.

Minchin left BBC Breakfast over 3 years ago after 20 years with the programme. She first presented the programme in 2001 and became the show’s lead presenter in 2012 when the programme moved to MediaCity in Salford.
