ITV today released the new Daybreak logo, ahead of the shows relaunch next Monday.
Lorraine Kelly, who already presents her successful weekday morning show on the channel, will be joined by broadcaster and presenter Aled Jones on the breakfast sofa as main presenters of Daybreak.
Former Five News presenter Matt Barbet and former BBC North West Tonight presenter Ranvir Singh will join Lorraine and Aled on the new show as hosts of the first hour (6-7am).
“I’m really looking forward to this challenge and to working with Aled who is a warm, funny and a thoroughly decent bloke and is already a good friend,” said Lorraine Kelly.
Matt added: “I’m hugely excited to be joining the team at ITV. During my career to date I’ve been privileged to cover some massive stories, from the Afghan war to the Royal Wedding, and I’m looking forward to bringing that experience to my new role on Daybreak.”
The new look Daybreak launches on Monday 3 September 2012 at 6am.
