Mark Lobel – Born in London in 1979 – is a news presenter at BBC News.

Mark has lived and worked in lots of exciting places including Zimbabwe, which is where his father was born.

After studying Politics, Sociology and Social Anthropology at Cambridge and Economic History at LSE, work experience stints followed at the Western Daily Press, Evening Standard, Channel 5 News and Guardian Politics website before Mark worked as a researcher on BBC2’s Sharp End with Clive Anderson and then the Daily Politics in 2003.
