Neil Cavuto, presenter for the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, is recovering from open heart surgery.
In a statement, Fox News said “Neil Cavuto had open heart surgery yesterday (Monday) and came through it with flying colors.
“Knowing Neil, he’ll be back as soon as he can, but he is slated to return to hosting his three programs on FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network later this year. Everyone here is wishing him a speedy recovery.”
Cavuto has been off the air since 31st May. Fox said that he’s scheduled to return to hosting his trio of shows on the news and business channels later this year.
The journalist was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1997.
