WWE SmackDown to move to USA Network 3 weeks earlier

NBC has confirmed that WWE SmackDown will debut on the USA Network on Friday 13th September 2024.
This is three weeks earlier than the previously scheduled move in October.
Dave Meltzer said in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the change was prompted by FOX’s need to broadcast college football in September.
This premiere episode of SmackDown will take place in Seattle, and will continue to air on Fridays after the switch to USA Network.
