Susan McGinnis, host of CBS Morning News, is leaving the broadcaster.

The CBS Morning News airs before the local CBS morning news, two and a half-hours before the Early Show.

Russ Mitchell said on The Early Show this morning, “Susan McGinnis in her last day here at CBS. She’s moving on. We wish you the best.”

McGinnis responded, “Thanks, it’s been a pleasure.”

A CBS spokesperson confirmed it was Susan McGinnis’ last day.
