Porn Noises interrupts BBC One’s Match of the Day

The BBC’s FA Cup third round replay of Liverpool v Wolverhampton Wanderers was interrupted this evening by sounds from a porn film playing in the studio.

Gary Lineker, who was presenting tonight’s action, was trying to introduce Alan Shearer, who was on commentary at Molineux when he was interrupted by the noise.

Gary said: “I don’t know who’s making that noise but Alan Shearer is in the commentary gantry.”

A BBC spokesperson said “We apologise to any viewers offended during the live coverage of the football this evening. We are investigating how this happened.”
