Jermaine Jenas Sacked by the BBC

BBC Match of the Day pundit Jermaine Jenas has been sacked by the BBC.

He has been dismissed following allegations of ‘inappropriate behaviour’, according to reports.

Although these allegations are unknown, the Sun is reporting that Jenas is ‘not happy’ with the decision and will fight to clear his name.

The former Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur footballer retired from the sport in 2016 and went into media work. He was a pundit for ITV’s coverage of UEFA Europa League football in 2014, and joined BT Sport later that year.

Jenas has appeared on Channel 4’s Time Crashers, presented a BBC Three documentary on knife-crime, and had been a co-host of The One Show with Alex Jones from 2020.
