The former CEO of ITV-backed UK news and factual producer ITN has taken his first full-time role since exiting last year.
Mark Wood, who was CEO of ITN from 2003 to 2009, has been named CEO of UK publishing group Future. Since he left ITN amid a restructure, he has been involved in a number of digital start-ups and advised national newspaper groups on their internet and iPad strategies. He has been on Future’s board as a non-exec director since April last year.
