Abigail Davies is a football reporter on Sky Sports.
Abigail also works for the BBC, IMG and TalkSPORT.
She was a reporter during the BBC’s coverage of the 2023 World Snooker Championship.
Abigail developed anorexia at the age of nine but didn’t see a doctor until she was 13 years old, when her eating disorder began to take over.
She was told her Body Mass Index was not low enough to receive treatment and to return when she was of lower weight.
Abi was admitted to hospital on more than one occasion over the next few years, and came close to losing her life as her organs failed, her hair fell out and she became more at risk of having a heart attack.
She is now a ambassador of the eating disorder charity, BEAT, and says she only truly became herself again when she rediscovered her love of football.
