She covers Government health policy, NHS reforms, medical research and ethical and legal debates, and has a specialist knowledge of a wide range of both medical and political issues.
Sophie has a particular interest in mental health and and was shortlisted for a MIND Mental Health Award 2015.
She joined the BBC in January 2001 as a general news reporter, and has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons) in French Studies.
