Text Santa, ITV’s festive charity appeal, returns for a second year with a three hour live show this evening.

Presenters Ant and Dec, Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield, Paddy McGuinness and Christine Bleakley are joined by a host of celebrities to raise money for six deserving causes.

The show will include A Christmas Corrie, featuring stars of Coronation Street past and present, a comedy duet between Gary Barlow and Dawn French, a Family Fortunes special with Jonathan Ross and Jo Brand, and the Loose Women panellists in an X Factor audition.

Plus, Rupert Penry-Jones and the cast of Whitechapel team up with other ITV detectives in a murder-mystery spoof. Also in the studio are the stars of Emmerdale, Rebecca Ferguson, Helen Mirren, David Harewood and Alan Titchmarsh, among other surprise guests.

The show is live on ITV1 from 8pm this evening.

After the news at 11pm, Keith Lemon hosts a Text Santa special of Celebrity Juice, where TV presenters Davina McCall and Stacey Solomon, Olympic silver medallist Louis Smith, JLS’s Aston Merrygold and Coronation Street star Simon Gregson join team captains Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton to answer questions about showbiz news and gossip.

And, the best bits of tonight’s Text Santa will re air in a highlights special at midnight, straight after the Celebrity Juice special.
