He was up against ITV News’ Bill Neely and Mark Stone of Sky News.

Specialist Journalist of the Year
Channel 4 News’ Michael Crick has won the award for Specialist Journalist of the Year 2012/2013

ITN for ITV News has won the Scoop of the Year 2012/2013 for coverage of the Woolwich Attack.
Nominated for this award were Dispatches ‘Plebgate Investigation’ and BBC’s ‘Attack on a Syrian School’
News Channel of the Year
CNN International has won the RTS News Channnel of the Year award for the second year running.
National Presenter of the Year
ITV News’ Mark Austin has won the RTS Award for National Presenter of the Year 2012/2013.
Channel 4 presenters Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Jon Snow were also nominated for the award.
