The 2021/22 UEFA Champions League group stages gets underway today as Young Boys host Manchester United.

This Group F match takes place at Stade de Suisse, and will be shown exclusively live on BT Sport.

While the Swiss side are relative newcomers at this level having come through qualifying for only the second time, United are making their fourth appearance in five years and 24th overall, although they suffered an early exit in 2020/21.

The teams are in Group F of the 2021/22 competition alongside Atalanta and Villarreal, who beat United on penalties in last season’s UEFA Europa League final.

United were 3-0 winners at the Stadion Wankdorf in Berne on Matchday 1 of the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League.

A United team coached by Jose Mourinho were also victorious at Old Trafford on Matchday 5, although it was not until the 91st minute that Marouane Fellaini cracked the resistance of Gerardo Seoane’s Young Boys.

Coverage starts at 5.00pm on BT Sport 2 with live streaming on BTSport.com and via the BT Sport App.

Jake Humphrey will be joined in the studio by Rio Ferdinand, Joe Cole and Paul Scholes.

Match commentary comes from Darren Fletcher and Martin Keown.

Kick-off 5.45pm.

BT Sport will also air Chelsea’s clash with Zenit on the same channel from 7.45pm.
