The BBC will broadcast the Women’s World Cup final this afternoon as USA take on the Netherlands at Stade de Lyon in France.
The Americans gained revenge for a penalty-shootout loss at the hands of Japan in the 2011 final by defeating the same opponents 5-2, with Carli Lloyd scoring a hat-trick.
They begin as favourites once again, having come through tough tests against Spain, France and England during the knockout stages.
However, although this is only the second time they have qualified for the tournament, the Dutch cannot be written off after eliminating the likes of Japan, Italy and Sweden.
Gabby Logan will be live on BBC One and BBC One HD from 3.30pm, where she will be joined by Alex Scott, Hope Solo and Dion Dublin.
The match will also be streamed live online via the BBC iPlayer.
