Matchday One of UEFA Champions League 2016/17 gets underway this evening as Manchester City, Celtic and Arsenal get their Group Stage campaign up and running.
The matches, including Brugge v Leicester City and Tottenham v Monaco, will be shown live on BT Sport with free-to-air highlights on ITV.
Tuesday 13th September
Paris Saint-Germain v Arsenal – BT Sport 2 – 7.00pm
Paris Saint-Germain host Arsenal in Group A of the UEFA Champions League at the Parc des Princes. This is the first meeting since the 1993/94 European Cup Winners’ Cup semi-finals.
Barcelona v Celtic – BT Sport 3 – 7.00pm
Barcelona host Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic in Group C of the UEFA Champions League at the Nou Camp. The match will see Rodgers reunited with former Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
Manchester CIty v Monchengladbach – BT Sport ESPN – 7.00pm
Manchester City host Borussia Monchengladbach in Group C of the UEFA Champions League at the Etihad. The clubs met in the group stage last season, with City winning home and away.
Wednesday 14th September
Brugge v Leicester City – BT Sport 2 – 7.00pm
Leicester begin their UEFA Champions League adventure against Brugge in Group G at the Jan Breydel Stadium. It is the first taste of Europe’s elite club competition for the Foxes.
Tottenham Hotspur v Monaco – BT Sport 3 – 7.00pm
Tottenham host Monaco in Group E of the UEFA Champions League at Wembley. Spurs, back after a five-year absence, could top their biggest home attendance, which was 75,038 in 1938.
All games kick-off at 7.45pm.
BT Sport will air highlights on Tuesday and Wednesday night on BT Sport 2 at 10pm.
ITV will air free-to-air highlights on Wednesday night at 10.45pm
