The match, which takes place from 7.45pm on Thursday 12th November, will be held at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in Belgrade.
Should Scotland triumph in this encounter they will progress to the tournament currently scheduled to take place next summer, and will enter Group D alongside Croatia, Czech Republic, and England.
The match will also be shown live on Sky Sports Football for Sky viewers.
