The second round of Six Nations 2019 gets under way at Murrayfield this afternoon as Scotland host Ireland.
The match will be shown live on BBC One and BBC One HD, where John Inverdale introduces coverage of a fixture Ireland have dominated in recent years.
Scotland’s sole victory over Ireland in the past five tournaments came on this ground in 2017, with the home side hanging on for a 27-22 win despite a thrilling Irish comeback in the second half.
TV coverage begins at 2.00pm with match commentary from Eddie Butler and Chris Paterson, and analysis from Martin Johnson, Paul O’Connell and Andy Nicol.
ITV will also broadcast live Six Nations rugby this evening as Wales travel to Italy. The broadcaster will also show the final fixture of the weekend, which takes place on Sunday afternoon, as England host France.
