Celtic make the trip to Austria to take on Salzburg in Group B of the UEFA Europa League at the Red Bull Arena this evening.
Victory for either Salzburg or Celtic would give them a three-point lead at the top of UEFA Europa League Group B after two matches.
Both clubs got off to a winning start, the Austrian champions beating RB Leipzig 3-2 in Germany and their Scottish counterparts scoring late to overcome Rosenborg 1-0 in Glasgow.
The teams have been drawn together just once before – in the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League group stage. The first game in Salzburg ended 2-2, with the Austrian side subsequently winning 3-1 at Celtic Park.
Those are Salzburg’s only previous matches against Scottish opposition, whereas Celtic have come up against Austrian clubs on ten occasions, winning only twice and never on Austrian soil, where their record is D2 L3.
The match will be shown live on BT Sport 3 with live streaming via the BT Sport app and BTSport.com
