Day 3 of Royal Ascot takes place today – live on ITV.

Due to Euro 2020, ITV’s main race coverage will be on ITV4 from 1.30pm, although the feature race – The Ascot Gold Cup – will be shown live on ITV from 4.10pm.

The race has been won by some of the greats of the staying division, and today could see Stradivarius become an all-time star with another win in the race.

On another great day of action, supporting races include the Norfolk Stakes for juveniles (2.30pm), Group race action in the Hampton Court Stakes (3.05pm) and the Ribblesdale Stakes (3.40pm) and then three very valuable handicaps to finish – the Britannia (5.00pm), the King George V Stakes (5.35pm) and the Buckingham Palace (6.10pm).

Ed Chamberlin and Francesca Cumani will present the coverage, where they’ll be joined by Jason Weaver and Kevin Blake.

Reporters Rishi Persad, Matt Chapman, Luke Harvey and Adele Mulrennan will be reporting from around the course.

Race commentary comes from Richard Hoiles and Mark Johnson, lifestyle with Mark Heyes and Charlotte Hawkins and social stable with Oli Bell and Chris Hughes.

The day’s coverage starts with The Opening Show on ITV4 from 9.00am.

Main race coverage starts at 1.30pm on ITV4. The 4.20pm Gold Cup will also be shown live on ITV.

Coverage will also be streamed live via the ITV Hub.
