Super Bowl 53 will take place this evening live at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
The AFC New England Patriots and NFC Los Angeles Rams face each other for the coveted Vince Lombardi trophy, which last year was won in memorable fashion by the Philadelphia Eagles, as they triumphed 41-33 over the Patriots.
That contest will forever be known in NFL lore because of the `Philly Special’, a trick play that saw Eagles quarterback Nick Foles catch a pass in the end zone to register a touchdown.
New England makes its NFL-record 11th all-time Super Bowl appearance and is just the third team to ever appear in three-straight Super Bowls.
Sean McVay of Los Angeles is the youngest head coach in Super Bowl history at 33-years-old.
Kick-off 11.30pm GMT
The match will be shown live on CBS in the United States, where Jim Nantz and Tony Romo call the action, while Tracy Wolfson and Evan Washburn provide sideline reports.
In the UK, the match will be shown on BBC One from 10.45pm, and on Sky Sports Mix, Sky Sports USA and Sky Sports Main Event from 10.00pm.
The national anthem will be performed by Gladys Knight, while the halftime show comes from Maroon 5, Travis Scott and Big Boi.
The officiating team will be led by John Parry.
