The 2018-19 Premier League season gets underway this evening as Manchester United host Leicester City.

Coverage of this opening match of the season takes place at Old Trafford, and will be shown exclusively live on Sky Sports’ Friday Night Football.

Despite a second-placed finish last term, the Red Devils know they have some ground to make up on rivals Manchester City, who finished 19 points ahead of them as they won the league.

Manager Jose Mourinho has elected not to overhaul his squad, and will instead look for more consistency from the likes of Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku.

Coverage starts at 7.00pm on Sky Sports Premier League, Sky Sports Main Event, and on Sky One, with live streaming via Now TV and Sky Go.

Kick-off 8.00pm

Four more Premier League matches will be broadcast live on TV this weekend as Newcastle United host Tottenham from 12.30pm on Sky Sports, and Everton travel to Wovles from 5.30pm on BT Sport 1 on Saturday.

A double header of Super Sunday action sees West Ham United travel to Liverpool (1.30pm) and Arsenal host Manchester City from 4.00pm.
